Is it ok to train six days a week with a three day split repeated twice while on a cycle, or even each body part 3x a week? I can't train more than about four, sometimes five days a week without overtaining, naturally, unless it is a split that trains each body part once a week. No matter how it is split up, I always seemed to get the best gains on routines that allowed a least three days a week to rest but if I am on a cycle my recovery will improve greatly whereas I will not need so much recovery time, right? What would some of you experienced guys recommend; utilizing plenty of rest days or training as hard as possible as often as possible? I know recovery greatly depends on nutrition so I just want to know from a stand point assuming every other aspect is in place as well.
