Life Changing Diagnosis

Well I was suppose to go in on monday but my doc had an emergency and the nurse said he'll call me. Well yesterday night I got a message from the nurse saying that I need to go in this afternoon... Keepin my fingers crossed.

Rupe, I had my girlfriend read what you wrote b/c of how much it moved me, "he seems like a very special person", she says. Anywyas my new neuro is a younger guy and we hit it off really well. He is very concerned but optimistic at the same time, I truely believe he cares. Great guy.

Hey if I ever get in trouble with my girlfriend maybe YOUR girlfriend can send mine an email and vouch for me. LOL

Please keep us updated and I am thankful you have such a good doctor.

my heart truly breaks for you ...to such a degree that i can't even seem to find the words to express it.

my father died of ALS a little more than a year ago ...i was with him through the entire thing, from begining to end.

if i can be of any help to you ...it would be my privilege.

Well... not much to say.... basicly got bad news today, Im out, need to be around people right now, especially my girl. Thanks to everyone that has dished out support along the way.

Thankyou so much GG. <sigh> Im just so tired... I havent slept more than 2hrs at a time for over a week. Anyways I had a really emotional night last night... Kinda in a good way. I proposed to my girlfriend a couple of months ago, before I knew what was going on, anyways last night I told her I didnt think It would be a good idea to get married this fall as we had planned until we know what its gonna be like. Well she demands that we get married as planned and doesnt care if she has to change my dipers in three yrs which, well I simply broke down with joy. I cant imagine caring so much for someone that you dont mine going through misery with them. Oh man I dont have words to describe this...

Being 40 so maybe a little more mature..not always....lol..If you love each other get married..It is for better oor worse...sickness and in health and if she understands that then DO IT. This girls loves you and want to be with you to help you and to just be with you....
