Is there a difference b/w levothyroxine and cytomel?If so what?

My freinds dog is taking levothyroxine for a thyroid problem and I was just curious as to the difference b/w the two.

Levothyroxine is a generic Synthryoid, which is T4. This is entirely different than T3.
