I think this is true as well. At least when I was a kid if an adult yelled at you it was sometimes listened to. Now kids will threaten adults to their face knowing that they can't do anything.

Mostly I feel for teachers today. They get threatened with violence all the time and can't do anything about it because if they lay a hand on the kid they will get sued.
