I did the research on myself and have had countless pothead girlfriends. I'm not against pot by any means. I think illegal drugs should be done away with altogether. It has tons of positive effects too. People say it kills brain cells while some studies show it helps grow new brain cells. It's less harmful I believe than any legal recreational drug on the market today. I'm just saying it can get ahold of you if you do it too much and it has its draw backs.

I'm a fan. I drink less and it generally makes me a happier person. I have to be all done with work and the gym though for that day.

I have a few opinions on cannabis considering I'm a MMJ grower/caregiver and my wife is a patient. Through observations over the years, I've formulated some very strong opinions about how/why the federal gov't is doing their level best to curtail the cultivation and use of cannabis.

I have "no skin in the game", I've never used or known anyone with a medical condition that may be alleviated by cannabis, as they say but the "Drug War" is a fools errand that wastes public money and enriches the drug cartels while getting low income people killed in gang wars.

It's Econ 101, supply and demand. The more successful the feds are at limiting supply the more money the cartels receive and the more lucrative it is for low income people to pursue distribution and then be incarcerated by the government for non-violent crimes. This country imprisons more people, not per capita but raw numbers, more than "human rights" violating China.
