Actually, in the above cases (I don't support Bush on many issues) it seems he is acting in the best interest of the US. If this enriches some, I see no problem until one can show me how his actions are unethical.

But I showed you that this has not been the case. Plus the idea that business only focuses on profit at the expense of ethics is myopic. The vast majority of companies regulate themselves effectively, unlike government. But you are correct, in that I don't "trust" companies to do anything; what I trust is the power of the market within our legal structure to regulate itself.
