I don't know about the rest of the world's balance, but in my life when I had the strength to hold them up, my friends knew they could come to me for anything. Now that I am in need of support, my friends have been so gracious to lend their shoulders to me.

thats just being friends. thats not karma. karma is doing something goood or something and later down the road something that has nothing to do with what you originall did comes back and rewards you.

like, you volunteered your high school afternoons at the AIDS shelter.

yes but i know rich people who are Mr. and Mrs. Cleaver also. Having a functional family is by choice. Karma is something out of your control in terms of the punishment or awards.

ANd I enjoy all teh great moments in my life, and i've had plenty, but I never once felt like it was any reward for anything good i've done. they were just things I created or made an effort towards.

What an awesome subject..I dont know what led you to post this tonight but I was actually thinking about this today as I was driving to see my accounts during work today....

In my industry I deal w/ many men (majority are married) and they cheat like crazy on their wives/girlfriends and I was wondering why they would risk their marriages for a piece of ass???... and whether or not Karma bites them in the ass??? And the women who they cheat with know these men are married, arent these chics afraid that the same may happen to them when they are married or in a committed relationship???...

Just thought it was crazy that you had this post up tonight. I use to be a strong believer in karma but recently I began to question those beliefs...(actually ever since I started working for my company)....
