Letrozole Dangerous Long Term?

Letrozole Long Term for Fat Loss?

OK, on the advice of someone on the board here, I got letrozole instead of liquidex and was planning to take 1.5 mg EOD.

The idea here is to take it for losing my stubborn fat - nothing elese.

I'm not on a cycle (though may do some Andro the first two weeks of my Letrozole cycle - a product called Equiposen that has a combination of various Andros - and looks quite effective).

I was thinking of taking it for about 8 weeks total (along with a mostly ketogenic diet and a full exercise routine 6 days a week [varioius cardio, weights, yoga, hiking, et ...).

Is taking the Letrozole like this going to do for me what I want and is it dangerous to take an anti-E for so long?

You won't have any problems running it for 8 weeks. Long-term would certainly constitute more time than that. Letro does have a negative impact on cholesterol levels, but you'd have nothing to worry about in only 8 weeks.

I have a friend of mine who ran arimidex for God knows how long, even when he wasn't on,

To make a long story short, the guy never did legs, had one hell of a upper body but the puniest little stick legs u had ever seen,

Now my point, he was wrestling around one day and all of a sudden his leg snapped and he broke it.

Doc said it was the long term use of anti E's making his bones brittle.
I don't know how true this is or if all his upper body weight just made his sticks collapse ( just kidding ) but the mofo is now on crutches for a while.

Just thought I'd let ya''ll know, lata

WTF? YOu are on a steriod board talking about using OTC pro-hormones (ie. crap. You aren't willing to use the real thing, but you're going to start playing with aromatase inhibitors?

To answer your question, the promary danger to using letrozol long term is the fact that it complete stops all aromatase activity in men, thus reducing your estragen to very low levels. This can reak havok on your blood lipid profiles. If you are worried about this, you may want to add in some tamoxifen (nolvadex), which is a selective estragen agonist/antagonist. It will act like estragen in your liver, thus keeping your lipid profiles at a more favorable level.

No Riker, but he is using it to counter potential estragen sides from a prohormone, ie equiposen.
