Legs and pain?

Two questions here:

1) Squats, I have proper form always have...my knees have been burning intensely for some reason, really nagging on my legs.Whats up?

2) Hamstring curl=the most excrutiating pain i have ever felt. When i get off the machine I can't stand because of the pain and my knees feel so weak, even light weight does this. I have been experiencing this for 2 years now. I just lay off that exercise, but it also does it after heavy deads. I am begining to wonder because it is always both knees...any suggestions or experiences with this.

i couldnt tell you what it is but i wouldnt fuck around with my knees, go see a doc.
 
i had similar pain, not in the knees but in the hamstrings. it was and still is a pinched nerve. hit a doctor up. no reason to destroy ligaments and tendons if you dont have to.
 
tendonitis it is from 15 years of wrestling and 9 years of squats...The doc said some people's knees can handle the wear and tear, and sometimes you just turn the wrong way, son you must have turned alot...shitty
 
I wrapped them up last time, went heavy but only 5 reps...feels much better then going for reps of 8-12. I'm not sure what the hell or even why for that fact, I am thinking that maybe endurance typ activities bother more then 5 short power reps, which involves more muslce and less knee contraction. I also felt better off heavy deads this time too, with wraps just in case, but instead of strictly hittign the hamstrings, I went for lower back and felt alot better. It's tolerable now
