Legal Questin, Do I have a case?

I parked my car at a Greyhound bus station and took a bus out of town for 3 days. There were 3 signs in the parking lot, all of them said ""Customer Parking only, all unauthorized vehicles will be towed at owners expense There were no other signs in the parking lot. Ok well, I got back today to find out that the Greyhound people called to get my car towed ($147.50).

I told them that there were no signs that said I couldn't park there, and I WAS a customer, one employee said that the sign said there was "no long term parking" and it did not. Another employee said that the signs had recently been changed and he agreed that they needed more detail. The tow company said that there is only "2 hour parking" in the Greyhound parking lot, There were no signs that were even close to that.

Ok so do you think I would have a chance in small claims court?? How much do you think it will cost me, do you think the judge will even care?? I have to do something because this is so unfair!!! Thanks

I found out that small claims court handles civil issues like "unlawful towing", I can't think of a better description of this shit. I'm gonna take pics tomorrow, and get reciepts of everything. I'm not letting these fucks get away with this shit.

Towing companies are horrible (at least in Seattle). My car was towed. My fault. I wanted to pick it up. It was Saturday morning. I was told that the place was closed on the weekend(?) so I could not pick it up, BUT they were still charging me $35 a day because it was sitting on the lot! I'm usually so polite with strangers, but I could not believe what I was hearing. I actually laughed. I told them that I was going to call the police if they didn't let me come get the car. I got it back about an hour later.

X.X , I used to live in seattle and I cannot remember the towing companies name but they handled all the city of seattle's business and they were a piece of work!Poeples cars were being damaged left and right in tow and the items in their cars were dissappearing all the time.T

hehe, little story. my friends wife got a ticket for speeding in a school zone, well the street signs were there but the school was no where from even being open yet, it was still under construction. So she took pics, went to court and had her ticket dismissed.

WOULD YOU BELIEVE THAT THEY PUT 2 HR PARKING STICKERS ON ALL THE FUCKING SIGNS!!!!!!! There was still one sign that didnt have a sticker, it was in front of the entrance that I turned into. I can say that it was the sign I observed. Also, I have a witness that saw all of the signs in the lot yesterday, when there were no 2 hr parking stickers on it.

This weakens the case a little, but hopefully the judge will believe my word, and my witnesses word against the greyhound station, its only 60$ to take it to court. I will let everyone know how this turns out, late.
