leg work out for cyclist

Aquiles cedeno

New member
I'm cyclist who planning to compete in a few months and I'm good and fast on flat road but when it comes to ride in the mountains I have many problems, I get cramps and numbness on my legs, what type of exercise routine can I do to gain strength on my legs to be able to improve my riding going up hill, thank you.

I don't think your problem is a training issue at all but rather a magnesium deficiency. The vast majority of athletes are deficient in magnesium. Especially endurance athletes. Getting cramps and numbness in your legs is one of the symptoms of magnesium deficiency.

Listen to episode #91,92 of evolutionary radio podcast -> https://www.evolutionary.org/episode-92/

Dr. Gerry B talks about magnesium deficiency and the important of getting enough electrolytes in your daily diet and supplement regiment.
