how deep do you go on leg presses?

whats the proper way to do it and avoid injury
cuz i hurt my upper quad once and now im tentative with doing deep reps with heavy weights


tell me your form and exp with it..

Go down as far as you can go but NOT so far that your Butt comes out of contact with the back rest. Also, keep your legs parallel and dont let your knees flare out at to the side.

Your Range of motion will depend on your flexability, gut size, leg size, eccentially, it will depend on how much of you gets in the way.

I like to use a stance slightly wider than shoulder width with the toes slightly pointing outward. In terms of depth, I let the quads travel down until they touch the side of my chest. It is important not to let your back roll on these. I go past 90 degrees. When I get severely fatigued and I want to force out a few more reps, I will give myself some forced reps.
