Lee Priest's OFF-season pic! LMAO!

Any way we look at it...Lee Priest is a Pro BBer...and WE are not. That means that HE knows something that WE do not. I seriously doubt that he cares what we, or anyone else for that matter, think about him or the way that he looks in the off-season...HE is still a pro and has accomplished something that millions upon millions will NEVER do.

I am fat and proud. I get fat because it helps me with my sport...I guess that Lee Priest either feels the same for his sport...or he just likes being the way that he is. I also get fat because I like pizza and hamburger and could care less what others think of the way that I look.

Lee priest is only "fat' in that pic by bodybuilding standards. Like I said before, it's not like he's a sausage tittied Michelin man.

Warik- I believe that bulking does have it's merits, and it is much harder to continue to put on muscle after several years of training. I'm not in total disagreement with you, however- one can stay relatively lean and still add muscle, altough it also depends largely on the individual. I know that my muscles and joints feel better when I'm carrying a little more weight, and I'm stronger as well.

good point casavant

Good point casavant. Anyone that tries to stay lean and ripped forever is going to have awful joint problems eventually. And thats why pro-bber's don't stay that way. staying lean and lifting heavy as hell to pack on muscle is awful on the joints when your ripped to shreds.
Warik will learn more and more about the sport, hes only been in it 3 years. But lord if he packed on 10 pounds a year of quality muscle in 20 years he will weigh near 400lbs probably. Sadly the growth slows until eventually if you remain ripped you will go from like 210 to 210.5 in a year. Bulk Bulk Bulk 210 to 217-220 in a year.....ah youth....

I specifically remember an article in "Flex" by Shawn Ray- the king of coming in ripped and in shape- in which he said that any young person who was staying lean year round wasn't maximizing their muscle building potential. Of course, while this was in reply to a question posed by a teenager, it applies to older people as well.

He looks crazy in those pics but you should see him in person. The fucker looks like a little monster, I can't emphasise that enough - LITTLE FUCKING MONSTER ! :eek2:

And you know what looks even stranger? When the little bastard has 80kg dbs in his hands, they're about as long as he is!

Lee's the man

I think the point that everyone is missing is that Priest is only 5 foot 5 inches tall. At that height, you are going to look "fat" pretty easily. His arms and legs are not like Arnold's, his body doesn't distribute fat like other taller people do. Priest could be at 16% bf and look obese, where a person who was 6'5" with the same bodyfat would look totally different. Besides, Priest is one of the best bodybuilders around. Even though he is short, his shape is great. I think he has a lot better look than other pro's like Titus or El Sonbaty. I don't think you can find one picture of Priest from a contest where he didn't come in totally shreadded. He is always in great shape when he needs to be.
