lol this page reminds me of being a kid in the 70s This kind of thing was on the radio or tv every day. I've seen all these before, about a hundred times . . . That was one of the things that made zeppelin so great Anyway, 3/4 main members were heavily into the british ordo templ orientalis (OTO) which is a golden dawn/masonry group famously headed up by alesteir crowley, (also mathers, winnicott etc) They basically are like masons, practitioners of kabbalistic ritual magic. The behemoth or devil image is really a persian mithratic god of virility, command over nature and reason etc. It's really more of a pagan or witch system than true satanism, but christians love to over-react and misunderstand. Jimmy Page even bought crowley's bolkeshine (sp) house! The eagles were into these (see hotel california), black sabbath, david bowie was a member with his initiation pictures available online. Personally, I think all mysticism is a load of shit, and I just like the music. In the 70s though, this paganism/witchcraft thing was a great engine for a lot of artistic creativity.
