LCD, Plasma or DLP

Dlp Is The Best For Video Games . I Have A 47" Dlp With My Ps3. Make Sure You Hook It Up With The Right Cables To Get The Best Picture People!!

I agree. I was looking at DLPs yesterday, checking out the after Christmas bargains. The picture quality is really amazing. I've read they have colors that don't even exist in LCD or plasma.

I have DLP but on some games the screen isn't bright enough to see everything. Football is great but I was playing some army game a few days ago and couldn't see jack shit.

oh, wow. Any pics of the set up? I was reading the newspaper today and saw a blurb about a 150" Panasonic plasma television.

Both Plasmas and LCDs cause a burn-in to some extent.
Work your playstation on your plasma and keep it paused for 2 days, the playstation logo will be embedded in the background of your plasma for a very long time. Your plasma might even have to be replaced. Most warranties don't replace for burn-ins - it is considered customer negligence. Plasmas are a really bad choice for gaming. LCD are preferable. They are different technologies, one's gas and the other is liquid, one's transmisive and the other is reflective. LCD tech. is more expensive than plasma, and that's why as the tv gets bigger, the LCD gets more expensive that the plasma of the same size. I'd recommend any LCD tv with 1080p, HDMI / DVI and VGA inputs, and a blueray player. PSIII will work becuase it is HD.

With the proper break-in of a plasma, you could get a way without burn-in. First 100-200 hours of use, you should view a moving picture , no static images on the screen and it will be fine.

There are DVD's specifically for this issue. Although LCDs are getting a lot better and it seems like all technologies are pretty similar now, I still love the dark picture/contrast ratio of the plasmas. I guess it's a user opinion type thing at this point.

Can't beat the 50 Panasonic 'Vierra' plasma for $1200 Seriously wtf? You can't go wrong at that price, awesome TV.
