Is it possible to run the serial# on a gun without being Police or gov?????

Is there a website or must you go to gun shop????

No, that would be invasion of privacy of some sort to whoever the gun is legally registered to. Sort of like running the license plate of a car.

You can do it if you live in Canada....although you made need an "Anton Pillar" order to get it done.
