Lateral head of tris.

Ok, I have a question that is very specific. I have some good tricep mass and arms are 19". Triceps is bar far the one thing that sets me apart from other bber's. Triceps are the 1st I use to compare development with other guys. I have a problem with the lateral heads leg that connects into the elbow.
I think it is definitelty on thing that many people tris lack. It really looks cool from a back bicep shot when you can see the speration line of the triceps from the bis from the shoulder all the way to the elbow. Here is a good pick ot the part I am trying to describe.

Here are a few things from reading I have found. To try avoid repeating suggestions. I know it is imposible to isolate any head of the tricep. I also know that when the elbow is bent most of the stress is at the elbow, where I am trying to improve. So I have tried doing partials at the end of a set. Also when the forearms are stationary, like in dips, stresses near the elbow. Also suppinating wrists, like doing rope pressdowns and twisting at the end, emphasises lat head. I have tried every tricep lift ever invented, with no success on what I am looking for. I am not accepting bad genetics as an answer. So if anyone has experienced anything that will help please feel free.
K of course.

Look at how meaty the back of the triceps is on world class benchers. I'll run down a good list of things to consider....close-grip benching, rack work, close-grip dips, and tate presses (elbows out dumbell extensions/medial head presses).....check out the articles on elitefts.com Just train the tris for strength and they get meaty pretty quick.

Yeah, you shouldn't accept 'genetics' as a reason to stop striving to better yourself. I will say you can't change the 'shape' of a muscle, but you can make it bigger by progressively heavy training. The triceps shot in that pic looks like plenty of skull crushers, pushdowns, and kickbacks went into it, but you need dipping and close grip pressing done heavy and progressively to pack meat back there.....and seriously give the Tate Presses a go.

Thanks Biggt. I love to hear your input as ussual, very educated and helpful advice. Although I am looking for a little more specific techniques. I have great tricep strength from close grip skull crushers dipsm and double overhead ext. I am not really looking for exercises, I have done them all and have gotten very strong on all of them. I am currently doing skull crushers on an EZ bar with 45's and 25's for ten good reps. With good form. Tricep training is something I will not cheat myself out of by doing improper form. I am very strict on my form and hate seeing others swing elbows. Anyway I do appreciate you taking the time to help. I will give the tate presses a try. I know it is going to be hard to give a direct, precise answer. But I figure this is the place to try.
Triceps are something that I am obsessed with since strting training, It is a flaw that I have been working on for a couple of years. So I would love to hear imput.

Lying dumbell extensions, start with DB's facing each other, similar position to a DB press although they are facing as said before, roll back to shoulders and sit them flat just over the shoulder on the bench or ground if your doing these on the floor.

As said before, elbows outs are great for girth too...

These should be done keeping the DB' close together throughout the movement.

i have a very short laterial head, but a gynormous but also short 'back arm' (lol)

when i wear a 3/4 sleeve shirt, it looks like i dont workout my tris, cuz its so high

itll never get longer, just thicker.

:(

K to all I appreciate every bit of advice I recieve. Chambewy, thanks for the links I will give them a whirl. I have spent countless hours reading every webpage and magazine article about triceps I can get my hands on. It just goes to show no matter how much you think you know, you still don't know everything.
