late night dextrose?

Here is the deal, I train late in the day always at about 10pm, when the gym is nice and empty, I just can’t handle the 6pm-office crowd.

I’m wondering: if there any disadvantages to supplementing with dextrose in my post workout shake this late in the day?
 
I work out at the same time and for the same reasons, and I have had no problems with my dextrose and protein shake that late at night that I know of.

do you guys eat a meal following your post workout shake?
sometimes its close to midnight and i just wanna go to bed, but i think it might be beneficial to eat at least CC and whey + some EFAs

I would try to eat some egg whites or have another shake (casein) but I also don't always manage too. I always have the PWO shake with malto and dextro tho

this exactly what I do... I train until 11pm, have my shake, go home, shower and to bed
