Hey bro, thanks for the concern. We now have had power back up for about 3 days. What a bitch that was with it being so damn hot. We did fairly well considering what others are going through. We have ALOT of repairs to do over the next few months, but hey, at least the wife and I are alive and making it through. It is kind of amazing how this storm has brought not just my wife and I together, but the community as well. Since we have no children and being the dog lovers we are, (we have a couple labs as children) my wife and I are trying to volunteer our time to help the less unfortunate. She is volunteering with the Lousianna SPCA to help take care of some animals and I am trying to get up with a medical group to go over and tend to some of these desperately sick and hurt people. I still have very little internet access so rather than posting posts here I am going to rely on you a bit if I may. Could you possibly put up a post that ole Latamier and his family have survived and are o.k. and let them know what my wifes and my plans are for the next few weeks. Please ask them to continue praying for us and the others as well. I will be more than likely set up with a group of surgeons to assist in treiog the patients and assisting with any surgery as needed. The part I dont like is that I will most likely be seperated from my wife for a good bit of time and distance with her doing her thing and me doing mine. It worries me that she may not be able to mentally handle the situation, even though it will just be with animals for her. I think that I will be alright since I have been doing trauma surgery for over 10 yrs, but you never know. This kind of disaster may even take a toll on me as well. Obviously, training for me is done for quite a bit, but thats just a small sacrifice to help these other people. Anyway bro, feel free to copy & paste this I.M. in a post for me if you want, and again thanks to you for your concern and everybody else as well. I'll get back to ya soon.
