Rex also realizes he needs a better Quarterback too.
Time to bring a veteran in and see what happens. Mark Brunell is more of an emergency guy.

publicly show as much confidence in his quarterback as he shows in himself (even if he privately has confidence in neither)
lose weight
not document his sexual deviations on video (or any other electronic format)
start planning on what he's going to do different at his next job

Rex is a great coach with a track record. I could careless about his sex life and he lost a lot weight (look at Rob). He just needs a new QB and to not let GM do stupid shit like drafting terrible running backs in the third round instead of getting lineman.

new york is a funny town (the fans and team owners are a bunch of unforgiving sons-a-bitches who forget real quick about past accomplishments)...there have been a lot of great coaches with great track records that have stumbled once in that town and were shown the door...in every sport...rex ain't gonna get the same opportunity that norv turner has had in san diego.
oh and you couldn't care less...yes???

If he lets Sanchez lead the team and he continues to fail you could be right, no one is calling for Rex's head here. No one at all, that is rare for any coach in NY. Find and one story about his job being on the line... The day his defense goes bad (probably never) is the day he will get a ton of heat.

no one was calling for joe torre's head either...jus' sayin'
People were, many thought he overworked the pitching staff. They also did not think he managed a game as good asTony Larussa (sp) etc..

Santonio Holmes and Mark Sanchez got in a bih shouting match at a team meeting a few days before the game. Santonio then missed a meeting the next day, I would be frustrated if I were him too. Sanchez had his worst year of all three seasons, and I hope they go to someone else instead of him next year. The Jets will be back because Rex and his defense will always keep them in games, but if Mark is the QB I expect more misery. CW needs to post in this thread too. Looks like he will get his with and the offensive coordinator may lose his job, I think he should stay.
