Rock & roll!!! Not too many chicks like Cohen...hell, not too many people I meet my age like him...

Favorite song: Chelsea Hotel #2

Favorite Album: songs of love and hate

Least favorite: any of that "first we'll take manhatten...and then we'll take new york" pseudo techno stuff...

Rock.

Btw, we've talked so much about albums that matter NOW...but what about albums that influenced you in the past that you only very occasionally listen to...here are my top 5...

1. Tori Amos: Little Earthquakes
2. Depeche Mode: Violator
3. Michael Jackson: Thriller (this one is a gimme, but how could I not mention it?)
4. Pearl Jam: 10 (say what you want, but this album rocked the 13-yr-old me)
5. Tori Amos: Boys for Pele (ok, ok, but I've gotta give props. I was 15!!!!)

1. Dinosaur Jr. BUG
2. Steely Dan Katy Lied
3. CCR Willie and the Poorboys
4. Neil Young After The Goldrush
5. Black Flag Who's got the 10-1/2?

Black flag, eh? ok, ok...I went through my little punk state too. ;)

I never got into dinosaur jr, though I did all of the aforementioned lou barlow projects with great enthusiasm. I'd have to say, the one band that changed my taste before age 18 was definitely Hum...emo grandaddies, whatever, whatever, but their "radio album" still rocks me...you'd prefer an astronaut fo life!
