Ladies, shoes advice please

OK, I have this sort of metalic gray dress I am wearing in a couple of weeks...

It's this color, but not this dress -

Last time I wore it with black shoes. Boooorrrring. Silver clashes. What are my options here? Would something kind of bold, like maroon/dark red shoes, work? Stick with black? Another color?

Mine is similar...it's that color, but with straps and a scoop neck, and it's shorter...about 7 inches above the knee.

Black tie mardi gras "masquerade ball" in a couple of weeks. I'll match my "mask" to whatever I do for shoes/bag.

what accessories do you plan on wearing... do you want to be bold or subtle?

black is the safe way to go...

however if you combine that silver with a plum or a deep burgandy it is breath taking.

throw some colors together and do be afraid of a splash of color... no one likes boring
