Ladies, Do Labels Matter?

Just wanted to get the female perspective:

Does a guy wearing clothes from the latest hot fashion source have anything over a guy wearing nice clothes that fit him well but don't have the designer label.

What's the level where it starts to make a difference? Obviously a guy in Dickies and ProKeds is a loser but how about Dockers?

I like it when guys just look nice and don't try too hard. Labels not important.
Personally, as long as it fits well. Not a fan of saggy pants.
Not all girls are the same though.

Personally a guy who is all dolled up in designer everything is just trying too hard, looks a little too desperate and too feminine in my opinion.

IDK, maybe that is just my idea of a man giving me that impression. I like my man to look nice, be well dressed, but nothing too snazzy. As long as he is presentable, the clothing fits, is not all ripped or stained, his hair is cut nice (or shaved) not a dang mess, I like some scruff left on his face (no baby face shit)...No labels and current trend fashion shit, that doesn't matter to me. Never has and probably never will.

When a man has a healthy, toned physique, he doesn't need designer labels to make him look good. The only thing he needs, is to make sure his clothes fit properly. If anyone rejects you for not wearing designer labels, they're probably not worth talking to anyway.

I couldn't care less, myself, what I wear as long as it's clean and doesn't have any holes that I might get arrested for. Speaking from my wife's views, she gets on my case if I wear any T-shirts with a "cool" label, like Nike or DC, or stuff like that. She likes me in T-shirt & jeans; at least in public ;) . She'd leave me if I bought an Italian suit, or alligator shoes, or a Rolex watch. I get SRH clothing & gear free fairly often. (for those not familiar, it's a cutting-edge name in freestyle motocross, and in the MMA, and in the 'white rap' circles). She's OK with that, since it doesn't LOOK expensive or showoff-ish, and it's free to me. It probably isn't even my true style, but I don't know what's in fashion and what isn't so at least by wearing SRH, I know it's at least not way wrong (in the motocross circles, anyway). She likes it when I wear beat-up workboots, which is fine, because that's what I have and like. I don't own a pair of Nikes or any label dress shoes. And my business suits are 10 years old from JC Penney or Sears. I can't tell the difference between those and Armani, and I don't care anyway, as long as they don't have holes and they fit.

Oh, and one more thing: I'd leave HER if she tried to get me to wear designer labels!

Def agree with this....very materialistic girls are WAYYY too high maintenance (pita) for me. Girls that like nice things are great as I like a well put together girl, but the ones whose entire life revolves around that shit are crazy bro.

Wear your shit right and the girls will love you. My one buddy alweays busts my balls saying only reason girls like me is cause I wear Ed hardy shirts ( ya iI do overpay for them but I happen to like the tattoo inspired designs) so to prove him wrong i wore out a plain white tee a few times with the same results.

In my experience, (and from a few girl opinions) as long as it fits you well, it doesn't really matter, Although I love my G-star Jeans, i just find it that they fit me really well :)
