I guess I don't understand it because I personally just like the smell of a girl just out of the shower. That natural clean smell instead of some fake overpowering odor.

well, there is after shower lotions that dont have a strong smell. I dont like those either, like for example, the vanilla one. OMG, that one makes me faint. Me, personally, I am like that with everything. If I light an incense or spray the house with air freshener, it has to be light not-overpowering smell. That way nobody feels nauseous

There are scented and unscented types. Most of the scented ones are potpourri first off I hate the smell secondly it makes me think of hippies which I hate even more.

I don't mind the vanilla as long as it isn't too strong. Makes me think about cookies, and the way to my heart is definitely through my stomach.
