Labrada MRB Meltdown

Got stuck in one of those situations with no food and only a Labrada Texas Pecan Pie flavor protein bar (Which, btw, does not taste like pecan pie in case there was anyone left on the planet that didn't know.) that luckily was in the bottom of my purse. It had been there for probably 3 weeks. Yes, I guess I was desperate. So I opened the wrapper and at one end was a really nasty glob of white transluscent goo. It looked like lard or wax or something else. I have no idea which ingredient had melted out of this bar but the rest of the thing was intact. The goop didn't have any particular flavor. Yes, I ate the rest of the bar and flicked the goo in the trash.

I don't eat a lot of protein bars but this one was enough to put me off of them for a verrrryyyyy long time!

I am curious about this too.....it just so happens that same exact thing happened to me today with a eas myoplex low carb bar....it had a big white glop of crap (i am assuming it was some form of saturated fat) and it was turning white on the outside....

i stay away from protein bars all together. one thing most people dont know is that no matter what the carbs say on the nutrition label all bars have about 40 grams of carbs. its glycerin so they think they dont have to list it. glycerin will spike ur insuline levels, i know this i have tested my isuline levels before a low carb bar and then after, it was spiked quite a bit. SO SUCH THING AS A LOW CARB BAR, no matter what the label says. thats the truth
