L-Tryptophan

Hey guys i was just wondering if anyone has used L-tryptophan for increasing GH levels or for weight loss. Some say they've used 4-5g and say they've lost lots of weight w/ it. Is this myth or truth? Any experiences w/ it??

I tried it .....

but I only had 1 bottle of BIOS tryptophan, and only used 3g at night . This only lasted for a couple of weeks, so its not conclusive, but I got no noticable results. I did sleep really well though.
 
Tryptophan is an aromatic amino acid that converts to serotonin in the brain. Neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine and GABA affect GH production but not to an extent that would yeild remarkable muscle gain.
 
If E2 is still around he had some great post about L-trytophan about a year ago!
 
haven't really heard too much about muscle gains but have heard of lots of fat loss and people saying they were losing too much weight on it had to cut back on the doses of l-tryptophan. Anyone else know anything about this?
