is it hard to find a good school for this. sounds interesting and i want to learn it but im afriad there aren't any schools in my area(pittsburgh)

I guess you mean Krav Maga?
I can not give you any advice on where to find a school for it but I can advice you to try hard to find somewhere to learn Krav Maga because it is really fun. It can be tough sometimes too but I really like it. Count on some bruises...

I have a question for those of you that take Krav Maga, what does it cost? I took a free introductory class and it was a blast, but after it was over they told me it was $125/month, which I thought was quite expensive???

Krav MAH-GA
My friend is Israeli, that's how it's pronounced. Plus, when I called a Krav Maga school near me, that's how the instructor pronounced it. I don't know how to explain it. The MA-GA is kind of linked. The ga is emphasized. Yeah.

Yea I'm Israeli.. Thats Just about a perfect description of the spelling.

I'm going to start taking lessons soon, but the main thing about Krav Maga is that its very practical martial arts, compared to something like Karate which is more for just art and not something that becomes second nature in a fight

Yeah. I myself want to take it for that reason. I don't care for exhibition or competition. I want to learn how to fight, straight out.

Been taking it for about a year now. Definately intense and definately real world practical no rules fighting. I absolutely love it. Hope to teach it one day.
