bros, i'm getting knee surgery monday, and i'm currently on 3ius/day of hygetropin, will bump to 4ius/day after surgery per Ulter. my question is this.....is it ok to take t3 or t4 with the GH while my knee is healing? i'm going to be immobile for some time, and i'm hoping the GH, with the addtion of t3 or t4 will keep me from blowing up as i sit on my ass.

as always, your feedback is greatly appreciated.

I would stay away from T3/T4, or pretty much any other drug not prescribed by the doctor - except possibly gh/igf-1. Knee surgery is very serious, so you want to give your body the maximum chance of recovering naturally.

i assumed as much, just wanted some feedback from you guys. is there any info out there regarding thyroid meds and healing effects, etc?

yeah dude take multivitamins calcium pills anything with vitamins stay away from shit let your body repair on its own you can still exercise a bit and try to stay in shape while it heals eat really really clean and eat alot so you repair I always repair quickly I have my whole life I dont know why but I do =D!

Depends what you are having done. I had my ACL reconstructed and was laid up for awhile. I would stop the HGH for awhile. It may speed up your recovery too quick, and even though it sounds good, trust me in the long run you will regret it. Let your body heal itself and then start back the HGH.

I just had surgery on my elbow (ulnar nerve entrapment) don’t have full strength or mobility in my arm yet. Heard good thinks about gh repairing nerve damage. Exellent point about healing to fast, should I wait until my get full mobility/cleared by my doctor to start lifting to begin gh, or let it heal up a few more weeks after that? Also thinking about something light like var anything we should stay away from post surgery?

Good luck to you with your surgery

what kind of surgery is it ?

new type of surgery that actually grows new cartlidge. the doc has 3 options.....microbrasion, a scaffold plug, or a biopsy to send of to a clinic to grow new cartlidge. he is going to scope it, the decide what to do. the good thing is that all methods grow brand new cartlidge, which is nice.

No experience here with GH but I have to believe it would help the recovery process in a good way normally, but maybe not with this type of surgery. I come to this conclusion from the quickness which football players heal from major surgery. It's obvious 99.9% of football players are on something and many are on GH. TO injures his ankle in week 15 2 years ago, has surgery and is playing in Super Bowl XXXIX. Rodney Harrison totally blows out his knee September 2005 and came back this year playing great when his recovery should have taken upwards of 12 months.

I'm not recommending anything, just saying. :)

hey bro, good luck with your surgery, I can definitely relate to knee surgeries, I've had 7 since oct 05, and I've got a total knee replacement coming up on march 7th. After surgery #5, 6 and 7, i used a mild cycle of var when i was in physical therapy, i recovered pretty quickly for what i was forced to deal with, had all 4 tendons in myknee replace, was fracxtured in 3 places, dislocated, tore a tendon in my ankle, and ruptured an artery behind my left calve. you should recover fine, let me know if i can help in any way, take care

But they are proffesional football players with doctors helping them recover to get back in the game. This is a different situation. I wouldn't use anything to just heal up quicker so I can gratify myself by getting back to the gym quicker.

Stay away from T3..

Do IGF-1 for 50 days to speed recovery and then straight to GHRP (that is a non-conservative length - could just do 25-35 days)

My friend broke tore ligaments in his hand and was supposed to take 10 weeks to recover.. he was back deadlifting in the 500's after 5 weeks after takin 100mcg igf-1 ed

After getting 6 knee surgeries done, when my physical therapist released me from therapy, I started a light cycle of var (40mg/day), and it really helped me to get my strength back and get back in shape. PM me if you have any questions about knee surgeries.

The best advise I can give you is to train the Hell out of that knee during rehab. I have had 4 knee surgeries and the muscle atrophy after surgery is unreal. Good Luck Bro.

If you take anything, make sure you let the surgeon know. That will be one person you DON'T want to hide things from. Good luck with the surgery, I've had 6 myself and know how you are feeling right now. Hang in there!
