Kissing your teeth...

Never heard of it.
 
Ah the kind of clicking noise to show disgust. Yes I do this frequently because it is a quick and easy way to annoy people.

lol- good stuff. when I get pissed I spit at people. That's the same as kissing your teeth, right?
 
Not a Canadian thing that I know of most of my friends here that do it are west indian or black. It must be a cultral thing, so far everyone that has replied to this is white to the best of my knowledge and has no clue about it.
 
Oh yeah, all the black people I know lick their teeth constantly. Especially when chasing hyena with their Zulu tribe all around Zimbabwe. What the hell are you talking about?!!!!!

and, it often is accompanied by some eye rolling, and a disgruntled sigh.....

Word there would need to be a sound to the smiley as well I dunno if that is possible.
 
Yeah, there's kinda two different ways of doing it though.. the regular little click noise which most people occasionally do if they're mildly annoyed or exasperated.

But then there's the more drawn out one often accompanied by an evil eye from hell, a hand on the hip and muchos attitude. This one I only ever see from woman to woman.. ie. ex girlfriend to new girl walking past with former bf. That litte noise is enough to get you in a fight at some clubs though.
 
Seashell you have to promise to do that last one right before we cattle prod people so they think they did something to deserve it first :evil:

I HATE THAT. It's my life mission to eradicate the country of people who do that.
 
I've tried it on numerous gf's in the past, licking and sucking and probing their teeth.This usually elicits the same response, them break into a fit of laughter. Apparently it feels funny.

Ok, a non white chica here....and sorry I didnt have a fricking clue what it meant either. So it sho aint a Mexican American thing*. But I understand the analogy now though. Sucking your teeth does sort of make a sound like a little kiss.






*Mexican Americans like to go to night school,
take Spanish and get a B.
