i'd like to see Gannon fight using hands AND feet, since they had rules that it was a boxing match only. i think a lot of people that are sitting here (and on other boards and elsewhere) saying Gannon has "no real skill" might say differently if he was kicking as well as punching. i'd like to see one of Gannon's fights where he is allowed to kick and compare it to his fight with Dumbo. he had to adapt from an "anything goes" style of fighting to a punches only fight. it's obvious the guy can kick good or they wouldn't of made that a rule.
my point is that Gannon can do a lot more than just throw punches. the rules of this fight held him back severely and didn't allow him to show what he's capable of doing to an opponent. everyone saying he has no "real skill" has no ground to justify their statements unless his anything goes fights show that he has no skill, just lands a few lucky shots. think about it before saying that Gannon is an unskilled fighter.
anyone know if Gannon has any other fights on the intera-web?
Kimbo didn't "gas out" and that's why Gannon won. if you (you = anyone that thinks this way) think that Kimbo "gassing out" was the only reason that Gannon won, then i guess you believe that a football team only loses a game because they "gassed out," not because the other team was trained better and played better. in a fight, you've got to have a better offense and defense than the other guy. you've got to be able to take the abuse when you do get hit. you must also have the stamina to go the distance. Dumbo didn't "gas out" and hand the fight to Gannon. Dumbo's abilities in offense, defense, stamina, and ability to take abuse were not as good as Gannon's. that is why he lost, not just because he "gassed out."
