i know arnold and other bodybuilders of the 70's would train their entire bodies about 3 times per week. granted, i am not them and this would lead to obvious over training for me, but im just curious what you guys think of this sort of program, have you tried it, or just any have any input at all, here it goes...

day 1: upper body
flat benchpress
lat pulldowns
bent raises
seated DB curls
tri push downs

day 2: legs
squat
leg curls
stiff legged dead lifts
seated calf raises

day 3: uper body
incline flyes
barbell rows
military press
preacher curls
kickbacks

day 4: rest

day5: legs
leg press
seated hamstring push downs
hyper extensions
toe presses

day 6: decline press
cable rows
foward/side laterals
standing bicept curls
lying tricep extensions

day 7: rest

no this IS NOT circuit training, i would do these with about three sets per exercise, doing all the sets of that exercises before moving to the next, with ample rest between sets, and lifitng heavy. now, im not saying it has to be these exercises, but in theory would a routine like this work? any input, articles or ideas on this would be of great interest to me. thanks guys, and gals

i know that if i went balls to the wall on all bodyparts, i would overtrain on that
