Hey everyone!! I wanted to post up a PR I hit tonight. I did 315 for 5X5 and then some on the flat bench today. Looks like I should be at 325 in two weeks for sure. This offically puts me back to where I was before the injury and possibly beyond. 315 felt very light. 315x7 was my best before the injury, Im guessing I could get 8 now for sure. Its good to finally be back!! I also felt tired as shit coming in the gym today, sleep schedule was off.ThanX again!! Heres the routine I did tonight:

315x4 (tried for 8 reps and got out of the groove)

360 (fail)
300x3
225x17

Incline Bench:

135x20
225x17

Rear Delts:

Reverse Fly Machine:

150x15
180x15
225x15
240x20

Abs:

Kneeling Rope Crunches:

190x15
190x15

TRAIN OR FUCKIN DIE!! 320 next week!!

Right on man, congrats! Great to hear you're back to your old form. Imagine what you can do with a good night's rest. 320 next week bro!

NOT TO SHABBY. GOOD JOB.

I just missed a PR last night on seated military bb. Felt real good yesterday was going to go 295, but left shoulder and bicep were a little shaky with 275. I just stopped after doing the 275 for 8. Ill get it next week.

5x5 for 320 next week?

Mad props WB - If that's for real, I'm MUCH MORE impressed with the 225 for 17 on incline than 315 on bench..........

Just think, if you ate 1/2 way decent, you'd be a true animal!

Military with 3 plates, is far more impressive than any amount of bench......IMO.....the bench can be learned......Military, you have it or you don't........SO MANY bench over 315 but can barey muster 185 on a strict military.........Props haus.

ThanX brother!! No need to constantly trash my eating , though. Im not a big believer in 400 grams of protein a day for growth. When I ate that much it didnt get used efficiently at all. My uncle who was 280 at 12% BF, 23 inch arms didnt go over 300 a day either. My eating has been pretty consistent in the 240-250's lately with some inconsistent days. I do what I can having a fucked up digestive system. There are many times where I will vomit, guaranteed if I eat anymore, and whats the purpose of that? Ive done that many times. Im taking in more shakes now, drinking half a gallon of milk each day and eating as much as I can get in. My incline and flat are very close like I mentioned, I just hit 275x13, just short of lockout on the last rep, a few days ago. I agree though, incline is more impressive to me then flat. Militaries all the more impressive. Barbell militaries put alot of pressure on my collar bone and lower back so I stick to heavy dumbells on that movement. Keep training hard!!

GOOD POINT JKURZ.

I missed the 225 for 17 on incline. GOOD LIFT WALKINGBEAST.

ThanX brother!! 225 is feather weight for me, so I can always rep it close to 20 times at the end of my routines on either flat or incline, or both. Awesome fucking lifts BTW! ThanX again brother!!

I agree brother. They put alot of pressure on my collar bone and lower back as I mentioned so I stick to the dumbells. Ive done 245 down to my chin in the power rack without a spot, but hardly ever do them due to the pressure. I do them in the smith machine as well from time to time. Freeweight barbell just doesnt feel right. Keep it up!!

I think the key is to go as deep as you can comfortable and not blow out a shoulder. I use the same grip as i do for bench, extra wide. So when i come down, my elbows are at 90 degrees before i even get close to the back of my neck.

ThanX brother!! I may eventually work them back into my routine again. I get so much pressing from the heavy inclines and bencing twice a week, that my main focus is on the side delts and rear delts, so I dont do too much pressing just for the shoulders, like I once did. ThanX again!!

I only hit chest once a week, so my shoulders aren't completely fried like yours.

Nice. Thats how I used to train but now for a while Ive been doing chest twice a week to give the inclines and flats a pretty equal workload. I mainly just hit the sides and rear delts when I train them after inclines and speed bench. Sometimes Ill throw in some presses too.
