KettleBells with PT

Blue Star

New member
I was just introduced to this concept of training ny a PT at the gym. I've just done some Googling regarding the topic, there seems to be great stuff on it.

Has anybody ever tried it or incorporate it as part of their routine?

If so, does it work and is it effective in delivering strength and muscular gains?

Thanks

i hear kettlebells are great, but relatively unknown among the PT community (general that is). the problem is cost. they arent cheap. thats my drawback right now. I'd love to implement them both on my clients and my own workouts.

sorry, all i could add was opinion.

i use kbs in my own personal training..... i haven't used them with clients yet.... they are not the magic pill of size and strength gains but they are an excellent tool for your toolbox..... cheaper ones are available at www.powersystems.com

bells are good for some sport specific training, and for adding another dimension to you average everyday program. I use them for all types of stuff myself..... one legged cranes (legs) shoulders and traps, back, but not for gaining mass. I believe they are good for strength, endurance and stability types of exercises.
