this is my tale of success.....

Started January 3rd, 2002 @ 203.5 lbs. I am 5 ft 9 1/2 so that is on the borderline of starting to get decently fat. My lifted experience is brief....a year here, a year there in the early 90's....havent touched a weight or done excercise since 1997.

Beginning at the new year...I decided to kick the fat and lose some weight...I am getting married on June 2nd,2002 so I wanted to look good ! Plus I was tired of seeing a big stomach in the shower....really freaked me out because I am a genetic mesomorph, with good genes....after eating pizza, cookies, candy, cake, fast food, and all the good tasting crap for 5 years....It finally caught up...BTW , I am 30 yrs old....At my heaviest (207 lbs) I was a 36 waist but inching towards the next level...The dreaded 38!

I scanned alot of diets and decided on a straight Atkins program....got the whole ketosis concept down, cut out all the carbs....and after roughly 4 1/2 months...I have proceeded to drop 32.1 lbs as of now....I weigh 171.4 ! blows my mind but I did it! I am now around 31.5 inch waist and confortable....I did ZERO cardio during this time, and had my share of refeeds when I wanted to.....deprivation is a crappy thing, but i always jumped back immediately after having some "cheat foods"

At any rate, I started lifting again about 9 weeks ago...I took the advice of alot of the people here, who are absolutely great with their knowledge, and I appreciate the help and inspiration as well....Thank you for posting to inform us.

Been lifting heavy last 9 weeks, using mostly compound movements on a 4 day split....

M- Legs
T- Chest/ Tri
W- Rest
TH - Back/bi's
F - Shoulders
Sat amd Sun = Rest

I try to sneak in abs 2x per week for 15 min after the workouts...nothing too crazy...

Now here is my questions -

1) After "cutting" and losing alot of weight with keto style diet for a whole 5 months.....is it time for me to start a bulk cycle? I am really, really lean.....look somewhat ripped....but I feel I wanna add some real muscle and think that introducing carbs will help.

2) Should I add 8 weeks of clean, low Glycemic carbs like brown rice, oatmeal, whole wheat bread / pasta , and sweet potatoes...? and if so...will jump the scale in fat or will i start to gain some nice real lean mass? I dont wanna ruin my success....call me a bit paranoid but I luv junk and 5 months of cutting is a BIG sacrifice!

3) Lastly...I am going on my honeymoon on 12 day cruise....any of u that knows about cruises...its an pigout Fest....i can use the 12 days to bulk up on 5000-6000 calories and still hit the gym hard for 4-5 days per week....this cruise has top notch gym, so i am excited.!

I used the following during the past 9 weeks while working out and shredding -

ALA - this stuff is incredible....better than mostly anything I have used..if i had a cheat meal..i would take 900mg and wouldnt feel so bad....scale never jumped up either after cheat and ALA! highly recommended ! oh yes, my piss stunk to high heaven....but who cares ! hehehe - still use 1200-1500mg a day

Creatine - used for prior 8 weeks while heavy lifting....gave me excellent pumps and nice water retention / volumizing in muscles.....but also did bloat my stomach region a little....last week i stopped the 10g i took a day for past 8 weeks...and lost about 3.5 lbs this week ///// probably all water! I would say that during cutting I would leave the creatine out of your supp mix! used phosphagen hp right after workouts...with ALA..i have a good job so i dont need to look to buy dextrose and pro labs...this was easy

Flax seed oil - taste like ass....but is great for fatty acids needed to induce and remain in ketosis....worth it for cutting and will continue to use during bulkin cycle if I consider it

Hydroxycut - felt it working for first few days....then its affects wore off....took 6 a day...never felt a buzz really...who knows what it did...probably mentally made me work harder in gym

Adipokinetix - have been on this for past 4 weeks and i think it works decently...like ECA stack , u never really know....I lost weight and fat recently...so maybe i can attribute it to adipo and the yohimbine hcl, i do around 4 pills a day.

Myoplex Low Carb - expensive but worth it...the only MRP that was great tasting and I looked forward to it each and every day....taste like Carvel ice cream shake that is melted if you pre make 2 packages in blender and fridge overnite.....the next day it is Incredible! i cant stand bill phillips or EAS but Myoplex low carb rules....i had choco cream only....the only gripe with the product is its high sodium content @ 500mg per package,,,also its about 2.20 per, much more expensive than any NON-low carb MRP...i wonder why?

multi vitamin, Ester-C 1000 , Bcomplex125 - all from vitamin shoppe and their brand too......took each morning and evening,,,,,excellent for stress, anti-ox properties, keep healthy, etc,,,- a must for all lifters!

thats my long tale of success....thanx again to guys like BFOLD, crum, and cornholio for all your input as well as others......any suggestions on the route i should go now that i am lean and mean would be much appreciated!

oh and one last thing that i have yet to try but def will put to the test since its such an argued topic - LIPODERM-Y ....I wanna see if it will work on the stubborn estrogenic nipple fat that will not budge!!!!

Par, if you want the perfect candidate to do a free trial to prove to the world if this stuff really works...I would be the perfect candidate! I will take pics , the whole nine yards! its up to you

if you want to do a cycle I would suggest doing some power movments for a bit, and get your body strong.

maybe do deadlifts, squats, and bench 2-3 times a week, along with some other muscles that you want for aethetic puposes (arms and arms)

then after you get up to doing a decent amount of weight on those exercises for your body weight
like sets of 10 for 3 sets with 200 pounds

start doing a conventional body building routine...do this routine for about 2-3 months, then deliberatly put your self in an overtrained state, take a week or two off then strart hitting the juice

your body will be hungry, and responsive to it, and you will break through to a whole new level

don't do anything crazy though

I would suggest

400 mgs of EQ a week


200 mgs on MON, and 200 mgs on FRI

and

ANAVAR

at

20 mgs a day

nice job bro, very inspiring, i've been in keto for about 4 days until yesterday when I had to go out to eat (taco bell for all places) and forgot my ALA... of course the crap I ate there threw me out of keto =(
 
well....

I am a natural lifter so I would tend to stand clear of any AAS.....I value the hair on my head and clear complexion, plus I would like to have kids in the near future...so I am gonna stay el natural.....


Chris Oh- stay in induction of high fats and moderate proteins, and no carbs for atleast first 2 weeks - you can do it bro....one thing that makes it easy is preperation....write a journal of foods fora menu for an entire week....then go out and buy them...and try to prepare a night or 2 before....

with diets...we set our selfs up for failure usually right off the bat due several factors...and not being prepared to eat a certain lifestyle definetely derails most people....funny thing is...most of my cheat meals were when I didnt have a damn thing in the fridge that was "keto-friendly"

i will post a sample weekly diet for anyone to use....when i have more time...i am a stock trader and the market is killing me today!

and one last thing - out of all the weight i lost....24-26 lbs came off in first 10 weeks...so dont give in to the urge!

let me know if this is effective on the Nips man, I have been plagued with stubborn fatty Nips for years! Im gonna lipo these bad bpys or put some compound-W on them soon if i have too. I am hoping Epidrill "cutting gel" may get cheaper, ill try that.

If your nipples have that fatty crap behind then why not get the surgery?
I had a pretty bad gyno on my right pec from puberty and got that sucker sucked right out... the drugs they give you are AMAZING ;)
I'm not sure how bad yours are so its hard to say if it warrants surgery.
I still have a little fat on my other nipple.. not worth whining about but if anybody does know of a natural way to kill it I'd probably do it too...
The shitty part about getting a gyno done is that your nipple is kind of indented afterwards.... where the incision was made.. and they aren't quite as perky... you need to get them REALLY cold to make them hard!

What were your calories set at?

Calories were set @ 10x bodyweight at induction of diet...or 204x10 which is roughly 2000 calories per day,,,,this figure varied though....

Meal #1 - 6 Eggs with a little cheese (I never got into eating bacon or other garbage with high saturated fats even though its welcomed on keto diet....but its allowed so if you like it, go for it)....and then I went with 1 tspn Hi-Lignan Flax Seed oil...ester C-1000 mg, Fat Burning Stack @ recommended dose, B-Complex 125

Meal #2 - Myoplex Low Carb Choco Cream - YUMM! remember to make it the nite before in the blender and then fridge it....next day its like cheating! 300 mg of ALA

Meal #3 - 2 Cheeseburgers with no bun ....through some blue cheese dressing on the side and go nuts!

Meal #4 - Postwork, I came home and took my Phosphagen HP with 900 mg ALA.....then I waited 15 min exactly and drank a Myoplex Low Carb MRP with glutamine.

Meal # 5 - (a.k.a. dinner time) romaine lettuce 1 - 1 1/2 cups with blue cheese or ranch dressing..... chicken with mrs. dash seasoning...total of 2 cutlets Or I ate broiled salmon OR turkey burgers with cheese OR skirt steak ....etc some sort of meat!

Meal #6 - (a.k.a. dessert!) - at about 10pm at nite...you usually will get a craving for something sweet...to satisfy my sweet tooth, i went with sugar free Jello in the pre packaged cup and topped it with regular redi-whip.....always does the trick! go with 300 mg of ALA to shuttle

Meal #7 - now this is a strange phenom.... @ like 12am, while reading some of the messages forums or just chilling watching tv or playing xbox..I would fill a bowl with unsalted roasted peanuts in the shell......If i tell you, I think peanuts and almonds and macademia nuts are better than fat burners! rofl...i would eat them like nuts late and nite...and always move the scale south the next morning....strange stuff in them nuts because i would always feel guilty for polishing a bowl off late nite.....I didnt complain!

like mentioned in first post....I took 1 tspn flax oil before bed, one Multi vitamin, one Ester-C 1000mg, and 10g of glutamine in water

I dont need to beat a dead horse, but drink atleast 1 gallon a day of water....you wanna piss out them ketones that are burning like made with fat breakdown.

If you are a soda junkie....go with a Splenda flavored one like Diet Rite or Diet Hanes....so you stay in ketosis

also previously mentioned.....i would possibly leave out creatine if you wanna lose weight....but its an individual issue here...maybe it did make me really strong to move progressively heavier weights each session, that being the upside of using it
 
In regard to saving up to buy the Cutting Gel....I would just go to CVS and get Prep-H at 10 bux for the bottle.....its cool mint GEL! same thing as cutting gel...just will pull the water out of surface and tighten the skin up with the witches hazel....

I went 3 days ago and bought my first tube and smeared it on myself....felt a little weird using ass cream on my abs....but had to try it.....then i used it on side chest....only on one side to monitor any improvements....

honestly, it does have subtle results...i was a tad bit more ripped but I wasnt doin backflips....its probably something good to have in the summer if you gonna go to the beach and gonna walk around with no shirt....if you have a date, i would leave the ass cream off though.....you dont want the girl to start licking the stuff of you unknowingly as she goes down the happy trail!

so buy it, try it...and gauge for yourself!

I am excited to try Lipoderm-Y because as mentioned..I am the perfect candidate to test its efficiency and I will put an honest assessment here for all to read! Par Deus, do you want to sponsor the tests ! hehehe

one last note....how can i post of pic here in the future if i wanted to? i have no clue...but maybe u gotta be a privledged or paid member to post a pic or link to a pic...someone let me know
