Bazl

New member
just a quickie, saw a post a few weeks ago where someone posted re kals per day for growth.
just wanted to see what thoughts were on daily kal intake without taking too much and getting fat.

also while i´m posting, what sort of levels of vitamins and minerals you at?
girlfriend cracked the shits yesterday. says i take too much! lol

how many cals you need to grow is different for everybody. if your looking to bulk try 4000 and see how you go, adjust 500 cals up or down as required. how many vitamins are you taking?

BMR = 66 + (13.7 x weight in kg) + (5 x height in cm) - (6.8 x age)

Yes I think thats about right
avg male is 2900kcal ED thats for about 190-200lbs

have you checked into macronutrient rates and stuff?

There's too many variables to give a definite number that works for all people of weight x, height y, and bodyfat z. The only real way is for you to make some brief calculations like those provided in this thread, then change things around by +/- 500 calories until you find what works best for you. It's not a quick process, either, so you have to be patient. Also recognize that many variables come into play, so your metabolism can easily change as a function of sleep, stress, macronutrient breakdown, supplements, quality of food, type and intensity of workouts, cardio, et cetera.

Just remember that if you want to look like a 260 pound bodybuilder, you have to eat like a 260 pound bodybuilder.

Good answer samoth!

I would also like to add to that is being aware of these variables is key as you can look at and change things a small turn and have great results!

Again Good answer samoth!
