Hey -
2 questions...
Is it bad to eat fruit if you are carb loading, like before an endurance event?? I know it is better to get carbs form other sources like oatmeal and rice but to reach say 300g of carbs in a day would it be totally horrible to add like 2 pieces of fruit??

Also, what is the maximum number of calories u can eat and maintain weight? like bodyweight times what??
thanx

A couple of pieces of fruit each day is fine if you're loading for an endurance event. You need full liver glycogen and low GI foods just prior to endurance activity. Be careful of too much fruit/fructose in this situation though because it can give you the 'runs'.

Max calories for maintenance of bodyweight is different for absolutely everyone depending on lean body mass, gender, age, activity level and overall metabolism/health and hormonal levels.

just make sure to keep up the complex carb intake up so that you have extended energy throughout your performance.
