I haven't had time do much training at all lately, and I've been eating really shitty so I gained some fat, and I feel so fucking small and I am sure I lost some LBM. Well now I have time to bulk so I was setting that all up by cutting away the fat I gained so I don't look really fat after my bulk, and I got sick. Damnit this sucks so bad, it will probably set me back another 2 weeks now before my bulk.


What do you guys think? After I am healed I will prob cut another 2 wks and lift a normal routine in the gym to get back my strength and then bulk. I hope muscle memory really works because I think I lost atleast 5-10lb LBM and my strength is down alot. I feel like shit and being shit is not helping. Life is throwing me many curves. Thanks for your thoughts on the matter.
 
Also while I'm at it, the supps I am going to be bulking with are as follows:


ALA
Creatine
B-complex multi
multi vitamin
Dextrose or Glucose whatever I find first
Flax or some fish oils still deciding

And I will be doing DC's low volume deep stretching routine. I've heard nothing but good things about it and I can't wait to give it a shot. I am looking forward to getting back into the gym.
 
if you cut you might lose what strength/size you do have..musce memory is great..after 2-3 weeks of training, i can tell i'm on my way to getting back to where i was
 
I already lost alot of strength and alittle size, and gained 5 or so pds of fat, not enough it show on the outside but enough to make me feel bigger in the stomach, and I am short so I have less places to put it,meaning I look fatter then someone thats 6ft at 12 then I look at 12.
 
Hey Cobin, haven't seen you in awhile:wavey:, I think you should bulk, so you have some LBM to show when you cut, at least that's what I think, and maybe you should throw in some sprints too, just ask jeremys, they're great
 
yeah, if you're worried about fat gain while bulking, throw in sprints 1-2 times a week
 
Not worried about it at all, I expect it. I know you can't bulk without gaining fat, its just the fat i will gain off bulking plus what i have added due to a shitty diet will make me look pudgy. : ) Not that I really mind because I am in it for the muscle. The fat will come off later. Maybe I am over analyzing this. I don't want to delay my bulk forever. I just figured if I cut first I could bulk longer say 3 months instead of 2, and try and gain more LBM. I am shooting for 20lbs over all hopefully 10LBM and 10 fat, if I got more LBM tho I will happy.
 
you will look/feel less fat as soon as lean mass comes back
