Just watched Rocky Balboa

biteme

MVP
EF VIP
A little disappointing. Not a believable story at all and Stallone looks old as hell. He's still in shape, but his muscles look weird and his skin is very leathery. Maybe too much GH.. I hope I look better at 60 and surely some bodybuilders do.. Maybe at that age, it will be just pride and the joy of being in shape keeping us in the gym.

The best part of the movie was when he was visiting Adrian's grave. That shit got to me.

Here's my new rendition of the Rocky theme song:

"Getting old now, you're so old now. do do do do"

lol...you're such a fuck up.

And I'm taking 6 months off work so I can be more of a fuck up right here at EF. :)

I'm a school teacher and there is a young student in my class called Adrienne. The temptation to shout "ADRIENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNE" across the class to get her attention is unreal!!!

i thought it was pretty good. i mean i severely broke my ankle playing semi-pro football and if someone dared me enough id play again even though all the docs said heck no. its a pride thing and sometimes i just want to throw the pads back on.

I agree that many aspects of the movie were silly but the message wasn't - "It doesn't matter how many times you get knocked down. That's just life and this happens to everyone. What DOES matter is how many times you get back up."

I think that for a 60 y/o Stallone looks amazing. Leathery skin? HELLO! The man has been wearing it for sixty years! It is baffling to me how *intolerant* our society has become of aging. Shit do you think I enjoy THE FACT that I will never be what I was even 4 years ago? But considering the alternative I would have to say I am fairly cool with it.

That's true about the message. I liked the part when he said to his son, "This world is mean and cruel and will beat you down to your knees and if you don't get up, you'll stay there."
