It is an awesome movie> I normally dont o sequels however this one was better than the first...
Good to know, I've been wanting to see it. I hope the kid gets ripped in two between the two trucks

Peace

sean bean is good, but this? of all the movies to remake...this obscure thing? rutger hauer rocks though.

this trend of remakes is so absurd and bankrupt, i don't have the words...omen?? texas chainsaw massacre?? taking great originals and making mediocre approximations...such cunts.

The Rutger Hauer one is great.

Anybody who has not seen "The Hitcher" with Rutger Hauer should. I don't even consider it a horror movie myself. It's just a great, although obscure, story.

I'll tell you one thing. You will never pick up a hitch hiker again.

Demme's Psycho...need I say more? :worried:

Hauer was perfect in the part and is STILL one of the most underrated actors of our time. Too bad he didn't play Lestat in Interview with the Vampire.

I am a fan of Sean Bean, so I'm excited to see this film.

Interview with the Vampire. Anne Rice's works are saturated with homosexual overtones, no wonder he didn't do it....

Is this a movie about Frisky?

Oh wait, I am thinking of The Bitcher

I believe he wanted the part, as well as Rice wanting him for the role, but I think studio executives thought he was too old to play Lestat. He did play Barlow to Donald Sutherland's Straker in the Salem's Lot mini series remake (2004)....so it's not inconceivable that Hauer would take a part regardless of it's implication, just as long as the role was a strong characterization.

I remember his vampire parody in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer' as well, funny stuff.:)

he's done a lot of "Cinemax" stuff. Blood of Heroes, for one....

I like a lot of Rutger's work. Ostermann Weekend, Blade Runner, and the Hitcher were all top notch. His bit part in Sin City was great too.
