I WAS VISITING A FRIEND A COUPLE OF HOURS AWAY FROM MY HOUSE TODAY. I STOPPED OFF TO EAT AT THIS RESTURANT. NEXT DOOR TO THE RESTURANT THEY WERE HAVING A POWER LIFTING MEET. THIS GUY WHO WEIGHED 206LBS BENCHED 675 WITH EASE. STRONG FUCKER.

Not does it sound fishy, but the facts are pretty far apart :)
 
how tall was he ? but anyway thats impressive for this weight. People seem to forget it isnt only about being big.

I know it doesn't count since it wasn't at a meet, later he weighed about 240 and got 785. oh and it was George Halbert so everyone does'nt think I making up shit.later.
 
Wonder what their cycles look like. I thought I was big and had a decent bench, but holy shit 700+ lbs.

I believe you.

For those who dont know who George Halbert is, he is the greatest bencher ever and holds the all time world records in the 198, 220 and 242 pound weight classes I believe.
 
I wish you guys would shut the fuck up about how much these guys bench. I dont want to hear about these dudes putting up 600+. I have enough issues on my mind without having to think of how my bench looks like shit compared to these nuts. Damn it.

I posted about a friend of mine a while ago who got 600 lbs as a club lift when he weighted 176... and yes he is short. He got 595 lbs three times in sanctioned matches... but never got 600 lbs outside of the gym. He got 500 lbs more then 40 times in matches.

I'm sure it's probably true, but I've still got to see it, maybe he had some fake weights on the bar. I'm the ultimate skeptic. That's fucking unbelievable, I've never seen anyone come close to benching that much weight at that size.

not everyone is as weak as you. congrats to the guy who benched 675, if he could add 25 more lbs to his bench i believe it would put him at the number seven hundred. i like that number, it is nice and round.

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT "NOT EVEYRONE IS AS WEAK AS ME"!!! I NVR ONCE CLAIMED TO BENCH ANYTHING CLOSE TO THAT. AND I SEE YOU ARE A MATHEMATICAL GENIOUS. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW MANY MORE POUNDS IT WOULD TAKE HIM TO ADD TO GET 700LBS. THX.

:D It's that time of the year again anyway- time to get fat and nasty. I need to read up a bit more on powerlifting basics.
 
Yeah i know Jesse, i work with his training partner Kenneth, who is all natural and almost just as strong, 185, 1RM is 565... short italian guy, he also works out with Augustus... Jesse, when he is not cycling he is in Kenneth's range, when he is "supplementing" he is much stronger....

They work out at Downtown in Covington and on Saturdays they are training with Gary Frank up in Baton Rouge.... you should know oif him
