Just Joined, Shut The F Up!

Sorry if this title seems a bit aggressive, I don't mean it to be (I've only been here a year myself). I'm just a little frustrated of all the posts latley, from these guys who just joined our board (i.e. Feb-till April) who give definitive answers. I have no problem if you say "I have done blank" or my results are blank, or even, my opinion is blank! I have just found a few people who are new to our site are saying "you have to do this" or "this is correct" you know what? you just joined, offer me your opinion fine, but otherwise shut the F up!

I'm pretty new to these boards so I thought I'd respond. I agree with you that folks who are new should show respect for the vets, and not act like experts. I also think that most of what is posted here are people's opinions, unless backed up with valid sourses or taken from personal experience.

However...just because your join date is recent doest necessarily mean shit IMO. I've been lifting weights for close to 15 years, seriously for around 8 or so, and during that time I've run gear for 5 cycles. While that doesn't make me a vet...I'm more experienced than some who have been on these boards a couple of years. Shit I've seen guys who have been members for years and seem to have no clue at all...giving bunk advice or asking questions that have been answered 20 times before, and are too lazy to use the search.
In other words...time on these boards doesn't equal experience and knowledge about lifting, diet, gear etc...and just cause you are new doesn't mean your a dumbass either. Although I think all newbies should lay low and SHOW RESPECT for the vets.

Just my opinion. Peace.

there was a post a while ago that got erased for whatever reasons..
it was titled:

'IF YOU TALK THE TALK, YOU BETTER WALK THE WALK"

I am a newbie here. I have asked a few questions on this forum, and have been one of the fortunate ones to have some of the vets answer them. If i see someone else who is new or relatively new asking the same question that i asked, i will answer it and make conotation to the fact that the answer came from a vet. But i also think that alot of things are open to interpretation, and that is where the trouble lies. I like people to stick to the facts not add what they think is right, unless of course they are knowledgeable in that area. I also don't see how you can force your opinion on anyone anyways. I disregard people all the time. LOL.

im new to the board not the game. if i respond to a post, its either going to be my opion because im not shure, or it will be the correct answer of what to do.

The picture on my Avatar is me on a cycle of 2.5 grams of test right now so you better respect my advice or I will bite your friging achilles tendon out and eat it with my puppy chow.

I've really been wondering what happened to this one. Seems to me that there is more of an importance being put on post count than info accuracy since this one got the boot

I am a '' newbe'' to this board, actually this is the first time on here i wrote anything, but any newbe willing to get advice and take it as word of god, whether good advice or not, is foolish. IMO advice from a vet, mod, esp. newbe should be further researched. i agree with what mendo said just because someone has thousands of posts dosent always mean they are always right. ANY advice you recieve should be looked into b4 u do anything.

Some people that are relatively new here know what they're talking about. Just because they're new to the board, doesn't mean they're new to life. I only respond to posts that I know something about. And usually when I give advice, I use sound reasoning to back it up. I've seen posts from other "newbies" too that were very wise and helpful. But then again, I have seen other posts that would explain why you posted this thread.

Dont look at posts....dont look at karma....look at the person who is typing the advice....post counts dont mean anything to me...karma neighter.....

I would totally hit that shit.

Oh, and I take all advice on this board with a grain of salt. People are people, no matter if you are communicating with them over the internet or in person. I don't trust people just because of their status, and if you do then you are a fool. :)

I like your attitude, you learn fast :) My kind of man

I agree but there are some newbies lately that are adding a lot to the board. Some are only comic relief but others seem to know their stuff. Everyone has the right to post though and if it pisses you off go ahead and flame the bastard - I like to watch ;-)

I agree! And just because someone has been on the board longer doesn't mean they're any smarter. If it did, that'd be like saying the new kid in school who just moved to your town belongs in the retard class because he's new. Sure he may not be as familiar with the way the new school runs and the social mentality, but he or she can still school people who have been there longer at math if he or she is good at it.
