Just got me HCGenerate and noticed something

Smokescreen

Experienced Noob
Platinum
It has stinging nettle root extract. From what I know, this stuff decreases DHT production. I already have moderately low DHT levels as is.

Why would I want to take a product that further decreases DHT? Why is a herb like "stinging nettle" in a product designed to increase male powers? (Male powers...lol)

STINGING NETTLE ROOT
Also known as urtica dioica, stinging nettle root is a type of nettle that predominantly grows in South America. Your dad or grandfather may take it to relieve symptoms of his enlarged prostate and to reduce his blood pressure. But even young guys can benefit from using this supplement - stinging nettle root can help to naturally boost testosterone levels by keeping the testosterone molecule free from a carrier protein known as sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG). While SHBG helps testosterone stay in the blood longer, it also prevents it from binding with its specific receptors in muscle cells. By freeing up testosterone from SHBG, you'll experience higher levels of free testosterone in the body, which can induce muscle growth. Stinging nettle root also helps boost T levels by preventing its conversion to dihydrotestosterone. While testosterone has anabolic effects in muscle cells, dihydrotestosterone has negative effects such as prostate growth. Preventing this conversion by adding stinging nettle root to your supplement regimen means you'll have more anabolic testosterone available.

Yes! So it does decrease DHT. Why would I want that? I just said I'm pretty low on DHT (according to bloodwork). Why would I want to decrease it any further? I'm having libido issues and mood issues due to the low DHT and now I'm going to take this herb to make my problem worse?! Come on.

You wanted a reason why stingle nettle was in HCGenerate, and I gave it to you. Most guys don't have a problem with low DHT, so its not an issue. High DHT can be a very problematic issue, leading to prostate enlargement, hair loss, and other health issues. It sounds like you need to consult your physician about getting your DHT levels boosted if it is an issue.

Also sounds like I should return HCGenerate due to its DHT decreasing properties. Lol.

Bro, I think you are confusing DHT with DHEA. Unless you are trolling. Why the hell would you want more DHT?

This is what causes hair loss. This is why many bodybuilders with hair on their heads take Propecia.

Higher dht levels are a good thing so long as they aren't too high,
Ever wonder how some guys are naturally hard bodied like they are on anavar year round?

You are actually both wrong. Both high and low DHT can be problematic, more so with high DHT for the same reasons i said in my other post. There aren't too many Pete that have issues with low DHT. Loss of libido is one of the symptoms of low DHT, but a lot of times the loss of libido is do to a combination of other things and not just low DHT itself. There are plenty of guys that have low DHT with no libido issues.

You can't just pick one herb out of the formula and think the whole product is that one ingredient. Each serving of HCGenerate weights about 3,307mg of which only 500mg of that is the Dyvanillyltetrahydrofuran.

HCGenerate was designed to avoid testicular shrinkage during cycle, to bring back shrunken nuts during and after cycle, to increase Test production, increase libido, increase sexual appetite, enhance mood and pretty much counteract all of the side effects you are now describing. It will work wonders to help you in all of those areas, low DHT or not, you should see a clear improvement in the problems you are describing. You already have the bottle, so give it a shot and see how you like it. I suggest you pick up a nice bottle of the HCGenerate ES version and rock that for month or two as well. It's not fables here bro, guys love this stuff and we can hardly keep enough in stock some times - hit it hard and don't look back, you will love the results.
