just getting back in the gym

almost-pro

2 years ago I was training like an animal. Had a trainer, and was training for a local competition. Had to drop out because of school, money situation, and job. I haven't trained hard in a year.. just messing around in the gym here and there.. running a few times a week to keep some bodyfat off. I switched gyms and started hitting the weights hard again... but I feel like such a girl. There are honestly guys half my size pushing weight twice as much as me. BIG blast to the ego. As of right now I am 235lbs, tested in at 15.0% bodyfat today. I was up to 248lbs @ 12.2% 2 years ago. Haven't touched ANY gear in 2 years. I'm also babying an arm injury from about 3 months ago that isn't 100%. Honestly, in your opinion would it be foolish to hop on 250mg/week of test to get a kick start or should I train naturally for several months and get my body used to pushing weight again?

I think you know the answer to this question bro. Get back into the habit of working hard, as you say you were before. Your body will get back into it quick and hopefully those poundages will start going up pretty quickly.

Steroids won't do shit unless you get your lifestyle back in order and make BB part of your life, not just something you do casually.

Get back at it naturally bro...you'll be happy you did. Then when you make some solid gains, and feel like you can't get any more out of your work naturally, hop on the sauce. That shouldn't be for a few years though.

Agreed. Get the natural gains back first as they should come very very fast. Introducing a cycle right now is just asking for some connective tissue damage.
