i'm here at work in NYC area, and she's in Pennsylvania. if i could be there i would, but i wouldn't be able to make it, and my head probably isn't screwed on straight enough to drive 3-3 1/2 hours.
she was diagnosed with breast cancer while i was overseas (1/03-7/03.) they thought they had it, and then a few months back they discovered that it had indeed spread. today i get an email telling me that she is in hospice and can't talk, but has her eyes open and is cogniscent. supposably it will only last a couple of hours at most.
thanks for kind words everyone. i just didn't really have any other outlet at the moment.
WOW, thats really horrible news bro..
I just lost my grandpa this past May so I know how you must feel...
If you need anything just give me a holla but my thoughts and prayers are w/ you and your family...
won't they let you leave early bro??
My prayers are with you and your family. I understand what your going through, everyone i lost was from cancer also. You can never prepare yourself enough for this. It isn't easy. You should try and get down there though. You just might be glad you did. I know I was with my grandparents.
