just dextrose

Can you use just dextrose and whey for post-workout meal or do you have to also use maltodextrin with it? Thanks
 
just dex is fine. It's all i have used w/ good results. the only difference ...i think..is that dextrose will digest faster and therefore cause a faster insulin spike...try something like a 2:1 ratio of dextrose to protien.
 
can have a mix of both maltodextrin and dextrose(can also be labelled as glucose)...half portion of each. some articles/reports show that there's an advantage...probably minimal in the big picture of things...
