Just bought a harness

Start with something smaller and work you way up. Also warm up so you don't pull any muscles. Make sure you have a brakeman we don't want you getting run over by your own car (I hope I didn't need to mention that but one never knows). Give yourself a fairly long rope so that your brakeman has ample time to stop if you fall or stop suddenly.

Now how about a harness challenge? We'll get a tow strap hook the harnesses together and see who wins, kind of like a tug of war. ;)

Happy pulling,

Did you buy a Draft Horse from Ironmind?

I've been contemplating getting one with some Christmas money.
Just kinda hard to drop $170 at one time.

Why yes I did. Company paid for it as part of a Get a Life Fund - most people use it for gym memberships and they are kind of strict on what we can use it for, so it should be fun explaining to our accountant what the harnesss is for. ;)

Find a pic of someone pulling a semi or a plane and hand it in as photo evidence.

Killah-

Did you pull any cars yet?

How about the accountant thing? Did the explanation go over?

I broke down and bought one. It just came in the mail today. I wish it wasn't so cold out...I'm anxious to pull something now. I think I might tie a rope to my wife's ankle and pull her around my house.

Pulled my first car today. My wife's Honda Element. 4450 lbs.

Man did that kick my ass.

That's alot harder than I thought it was going to be.
The chain I had was a little long. I had 20 ft. Once I got the car moving, my legs were WAY tired so as I slowed down a bit, I lost the tension in the chain. Without the tension, it was easier to pull naturally. But then the tension kicked up again. That created a bouncing effect for a bit. Not much fun.

I've got it on video to show a few friends I train with. When I upgrade my video card in a week or two, I'll upload the video so anyone can watch it if they're interested to see just how out of breath I was after only a few minutes.
