I think its weird that I just now changed my address in Voter Registration and i just now now get a summons. I shoudl have never registered to vote, I doubt I'll even vote in this election

Depends on what sort of trials they have going on. Some are exciting and some are so boring you will want to die before you get through it.

Jury duty sucks. I was able to get out of mine by telling the judge I was hypoglycemic and their shit food in the vending machines wouldn't cut it. So they let me go and I was able to get shit done the rest of the day.

if it a black man .. tell them u dont get along with black people .
cop trial .. tell them u had bad experiences with cops etc
they will ask u these questions .. wrong answer = dismissed from consideration for that trial

Don't fear the judge.
It isn't like he's going to yell at you and then make you be on the jury.
Judges take all of their frustration out on the lawyers.

My mom was on a jury for a murder trial. The trial lasted 3 months and she was spent. It took so much out of her, she got ill.
She was also sequestered for 2 weeks. When she got home, she was sick in bed for a week.

I would get out of it also
My friend was called and she wanted out of it so bad, so when she went for an interview, they asked her if she was racist and she used the "n" word and she was let go

i got it once in 1 county, and then one time when i moved to another county.
