Jury convicts man in the 2001 murder of Chandra Levy?

The state had no DNA, no evidence other than he attacked 2 other women , one of which supposedly was attacked on the same night Levy disappeared, and it took the police 10 years to come up with this? Im suspect at this. Yes , the guy is a scumbag however the state had no PROOF he committed any crime in this case. Discuss.

If I recall at the time it was summer 2001 and that politician Gary Condit guy was taking a lot of heat for being linked to her death. The the story got obliterated from the media radar that september. It was the 11th I believe......

YOu know I agree with not wanting an illegal here abusing our healthcare and other assistance programs however you miss a very important point. If he did not kill the Levy girl then while you convict and incarcerate him the REAL killer is still lose and could possibly do it again.

Anyone with common sense can dictate he probably killed her. Unfortunately, our justice system demand irrefutable proof w/o any judicial hangups and a convinced jury and plenty of murderers have used that to their advantage to get awya with murder. Look at the Bonets, OJ or the Aruba Holloway case.

I like the wild west way of handling these things. No beaucractic, legal mumbo jumbo crap for murderers to take advantage of. In the us, it's easy to get away with murder if yo'ure good enough to no trace.
