Julez needs some help from computer gurus >please<!

I need two programs.... I have searched on the net but I cannot find what I am looking for.

1. A decent newsgroup program. Outlook sucks.

2. I need a program to partition my hard drive.... can't figure out how to do it with windows.

You can use "fdisk" to partition drives
What about using Netscape as a newsgroup reader?

I can't figure out fdisk.

What it is, I want to reformat my hard drive as I have a load of shit that would take ages. I even think I've got a virus somewhere, tried McAfee, etc... nothing founf

So now I have drive C:, I want to partition this drive into two, C: and D:

Then I want to copy all the files I want onto drive D: and wipe C:

Is this possible?

For a NG program try Forte Agent. There's a commercial version but also a freeware version called FreeAgent (or Free Agent). It's good.

For partition stuff use PQ's PartitionMagic. Do a websearch on it and you'll find it. DONT USE FDISK , YOU WILL FUCK YOURSELF OVER.

What you ask for is not possible though. C drive is your primary partition and you can't wipe it out completely.

No that is not possible .. as any re-partitioning will wipe everything out, and you'll have nothing to copy over to D:

There is a program that will what you want .. I forgot the name however, hmmm..

I agree..Outlook sucks the high hard one..
we've used Eudora for yrs now...it is great....

I have Partition Magic 7.0 the new one with Boot Magic. Drop me a e-mail if you want the program. Dont use fdisk !!!!!!!!!
