Juice minus weights....

Got a Bro that will be shipping overseas in a week or two, and doesn't know how long he'll be away from the weights...mid cycle, what do you guys recommend for excersies in this senerio?? Hit me back.

great advice. If you really wanted to you could design a workout using things around you. Lift stuff, press stuff, push stuff, pushups, pull-ups, sit-ups. Just stay active and make sure the muscles are still working and he will probably not lose anyhting in the week or 2 off.
 
also tell him to make sure his diet is in check. that alone, will maintain his size, even without training for a week
 
Shipping off like military wise ?
If so i dont know of a single base, homeland or otherwise that doesnt have a gym. 5 of my bros are in bosnia right now and have gained weight because they have nothing else to do in there time off but lift. Ask him to check around for facilites to use, he should be able to find something:D
 
pushups, "judo" pushups or dive bombers
clap pushups
dips off a chair
hand stand pushups
body weight squats
one legged body weight squats
sprints
pullups and one armed pullups
calf raises off a step or box and one legged calf raises
situps leg raises crunches

with those exercises and dedication/intensity you can make gains
 
The key is to make the excercises as hard as possible.

So, don't do pullups the regular way. Tell him to do the pullups with very very slow reps, especially on the negatives. Same for dips between two chairs.

Lower body will be harder to maintain though.

Anakin is right going really slow especially on the negatives will help and going high reps can do the same thing..

i think its a lot harder to push yourself on sets where you need to do 20,30 or 40 reps in a set rather than just doing 8 sets.. maybe its just me...
